Cloud-based performance monitoring solution provider Site24x7 has entered the Chinese cloud monitoring market by opening a new data center in Shanghai.

The company has launched site24x7.cn in simplified Chinese, an AI-powered solution that includes all-in-one monitoring capabilities including user experience, infrastructure, and application performance monitoring.

The new service is designed to give businesses operating in China visibility into their digital transformation and optimization journeys.

Site24x7 VP Zoho China Li Fei said the company's investment in China represents the start of a long-term commitment to the market.

“With digital services among China's businesses picking pace, the country is heading northwards in adopting IaaS and PaaS," she said.

"This calls for continuous monitoring of cloud environments to have an edge over others in business. Site24x7's entry into China market brings in expertise and performance monitoring best practices to address the growing business and IT challenges  in the region."

China Internet Watch predicts that China's public cloud infrastructure-as-a-service market will reach 342.58 billion yuan (HK$400.88 billion) by the end of 2021, which is making it imperative for IT and DevOps teams to have end-to-end visibility of their cloud infrastructure to proactively solve issues in cloud applications before they impact the user experience and their businesses.
