Enterprise software company SAP has won a trio of significant contracts in Greater China covering the supply of its SAP SuccessFactors human capital management solutions.

Theme park and resort operator Chimelong Group, bakery and food brand KENGEE and retailer MINISO have all selected SAP SuccessFactors to help drive workplace digital transformation.

Each of the new customers have a significant presence in the Greater Bay Area, with MINISO having a number of retail outlets in Hong Kong.

Chimelong Group has selected SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Hybris solutions to support a transformation of its HR, sales and marketing operations.

KENGEE will meanwhile use SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Hybris Commerce and Marketing solutions along with SAP Ariba, while Japanese designer rand MINISO will use SAP SuccessFactors to optimize performance management and enable HR self-service capabilities.

All three companies will also use the SAP S/4HANA on-premise enterprise resource planning suite as the core platform for their respective digital transformations.

SAP SuccessFactors president Greg Tomb said the contract wins reflect a growing trend within the Greater China market involving local SMEs adopting cloud-based human resources software solutions – the company now has hundreds of local subscribers to its SAP SuccessFactors solutions.

“It’s exciting to see how local firms in Greater China are actively pursuing digital HR solutions,” he said.

“SAP SuccessFactors solutions can uniquely address business transformation needs, connecting the people experience to the desired customer experience. It is particularly important in a rapidly-growing economy, such as Greater China, as companies compete on many fronts such as business efficiency, market share and talent acquisition.”
