Technology solutions provider JOS and partners Manulife, Hong Kong Maxim's Group and Sino Group have announced the shortlisted teams that will compete in final round of the annual JOS Innovation Awards.
A total of 13 teams were shortlisted from the more than 50 teams of 2-5 university students taking part in the first round of the awards awards.
Each team examined a customer experience challenge facing the organizing companies and devised a potential solution.
During an announcement event on Friday, the 13 teams participated in a closed door learning and sharing session about customer experience challenges facing various industry sectors including technology, insurance, food and beverage, and property.
The shortlisted teams will take part in a battle round next month, where four teams will be selected to win HK$30,000 each and a place in the JOS Innovation Awards 2018-19 Mentorship Program.
“This year, the JOS Innovation Awards yet again attracted high caliber entries from students who approached the customer experience theme with great enthusiasm and creativity,” JOS managing director for greater China Eric Or said after the event.
“There were some amazing ideas put forward and it was very hard to determine the shortlisted entries. Today’s sharing session allowed executives and students a common platform to voice their thoughts on current and future customer experience trends and how these may be addressed.”
