Digital identity verification solution provider Blockpass IDN is providing its blockchain-based KYC Connect solution for Hong Kong based asset manager Legacy Trust's customer onboarding procedure.

Legacy Trust provides custody for cryptographic and fiat assets for individuals and institutions, serving corporate clients, pension funds and ultra-high net worth individuals.

The asset manager will use the Blockpass Application as part of its user onboarding process. The Blockpass KYC Connect solution is designed to plug into existing platforms through the use of an API, and to significantly reduce the complications involved with onboarding.

"We're really looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership with Legacy Trust," Blockpass CEO Adam Vaziri said.

"Together, we can aid in simplifying new customer onboarding for Legacy while growing the Blockpass consumer ecosystem, building the number of users who actively use the application and therefore strengthening the overall Blockpass proposition."

Hong Kong registered Blockpass IDN is a joint venture of Infinity Blockchain Labs and Chain of Things that licenses its technology from the non-profit Blockpass Foundation.

The company has signed on a number of new corporate customers in recent months, including Ethfinex, BBFTA, ethecal and Infinito.
