The company is using Platform Equinix and Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric to transform its key internal and customer facing IT infrastructure.
Wing On is in the final stages of a three year digital transformation project aimed at providing customers with a seamless omnichannel offline and online experience.
This has required a full refresh of the company's existing core applications as well as the creation of new applications to enhance the customer experience. The refresh covers applications ranging from enterprise resource planning to point of sale systems, as well as network and security infrastructure.
Wing On will use the interconnection services provided through the Equinix International Business Exchange data centers in Hong Kong to consolidate connectivity between applications hosted on public clouds.
These services will also provide Wing On with access to the ecosystem of ecosystem of enterprises, clouds, networks and IT providers using the Equinix platform.
