SmarTone has unveiled a series of security solutions aimed at offering enterprises a one-stop solution for detecting and preventing cyber threats and responding to incidents.

The new Cybercurity Solutions offerings are based on a three-pronged strategy of people, processes, and technology.

The SmarTone Cybersecurity portfolio encompasses security awareness training for staff, managed smart endpoint threat detection and response, intelligent threat analysis tools incorporating machine learning, and next-generation firewalls and antivirus software.

The processes aspect of the three-pronged strategy is addressed via strategic consulting offered to enterprises seeking to adopt effective cybersecurity practices.

This consulting service incorporates threat risk assessment, third-party risk assessment and incident response planning.

Meanwhile SmarTone is partnering with training company KnowBe4 to offer security awareness training and simulated phishing email attacks.

On the technology front, SmarTone is collaborating with Cybereason to offer a 24x7 endpoint monitoring service, and with ZecOps to help enable IT and security operations center teams to conduct advanced threat detection and forensic analysis.

According to SmarTone CEO Anna Yip, security incidents in Hong Kong increased tenfold between 2009 and 2018, and Hong Kong companies and residents lost more than HK$2 billion to cybercrime in the first nine months of 2018.

“SmarTone is committed to addressing enterprises’ prime concern about cyberthreats, and their needs for the highest standard of cybersecurity,” she said.

“We have been pioneering the introduction of AI in the cybersecurity solution space, for example in ST Protect, which is designed for mobile endpoints. Now, we continue our leadership by collaborating with industry-renowned partners to offer world-class Cybersecurity Solutions to the business markets.”
